​If you’re laying the turf yourself, timing is essential. Turf should be installed on the same day it is delivered to prevent it drying out or deteriorating, particularly along the edges.​
Once laid, water the turf within 30 minutes, applying enough to moisten the soil beneath to a depth of around 4 inches. This typically requires the equivalent of about an inch of rainfall. Proper watering ensures your new lawn establishes quickly, grows healthy, and remains lush.
